I trained as a biomedical engineer at Columbia University during my bachelor.

Immediately after that I completed my doctorate in the Department of Physiology, Biophysics and Systems Biology at Weill Cornell Graduate School. My work, conducted under an MD-PhD and active surgeon, addressed the properties of orthopedic tissues and the biochemistry of the mineralization process.

I took an interest in writing somewhere in grad school (continuing a sort of lifelong pleasure of writing). I tried when I could to cover current events in science, specializing in biology. Most of my pieces are probably dated, but I think the content is still relevant and the levity should carry you through.
